Join the Buzz: Let’s Build an Apiary

Bring Bees & Learning to Life at PAWS Farm Educational Center!

Help us raise the first $5,000 toward our $10,000 goal to build a bee apiary at PAWS Farm.

Pollinators are essential for our environment, the food we eat, and our health. Their numbers are declining—but you can help change that!

Establishing an apiary at PAWS Farm, an outreach center run by the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine at Rowan University, will not only support pollinator populations in the region but also provide educational opportunities for students and visitors of all ages.

Managed honeybees also require specialty care provided by a veterinarian. The bees at PAWS will also help train our veterinary students to provide that care.

Bee the changehelp support pollinators and the next generation of compassionate veterinarians!

-Dr. Katie Krebs

"Bees may be small, but their impact is enormous. By supporting an apiary at PAWS Farm, you’re helping people of all ages see firsthand how pollinators keep our environment—and ultimately our food and health—thriving. It’s a simple, powerful way to connect the care of animals, people, and the planet all in one place.”

– Dr. Katie Krebs,  Associate Clinical Professor, Primary Care at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University
