Their goal is to encourage, advance, empower, and enrich the lives of motivated Rowan University students who aspire to careers in Business, Health Science, or Scientific Research. Support the Center of Belonging & Student Engagement in wellness events on campus. Belonging & Student Engagement Intercultural Engagement's Belonging & Care Pop-Ups are a student wellness initiative designed to address students' physical wellness needs in the Rowan community. This initiative provides free wellness and personal care items that are responsive to students' needs while also serving as a point of connection for students to access campus resources and engage with our center. Funds raised through this project will be used to sustain this initiative throughout the '26-'27 academic year. Monthly, pop-ups at strategic high-traffic locations are used to engage students and make the offered resources more accessible on campus. In addition to distributing care items, our Belonging & Care Pop-Ups create opportunities to engage students through brief, intentional questions designed to better understand their campus experiences and support needs.

Connection in a Backpack: Tools for Belonging

CES Program, College of Ed Connection in a Backpack will equip up to 24 Rowan counseling interns with tools to foster connection, expression, and belonging through supervised school counseling activities. The reusable backpacks will contain cooperative activities, expressive arts materials, sensory supports, inclusive books, and practical activity guides. Paired with training and supervised use in school placements, these resources will help interns build relationships and foster belonging. Interns will receive training to adapt activities to students’ strengths, identities, and access needs. This project will also support a Counseling in Educational Settings (CES) lending collection, reducing interns’ personal costs and benefiting future cohorts. The $4,000 goal will fund: backpacks and contents ($3,000) training materials ($500) accessible guides ($300) organization supplies ($200) Help future school counselors create spaces where children and adolescents feel seen, valued, and connected.

NJ MAP maintains a tri-annually updated database of NJ’s 3.1 million parcels as a service to support land conservation and smart growth planning practices. The Geospatial Research Lab at Rowan University has hosted and maintained NJ MAP since 2012. The mission is to empower people and municipalities to make more informed decisions through collaborative mapping by democratizing data for environmental sustainability, community building, equity, and climate resilience in New Jersey. Your support will allow Rowan to continue to maintain the website as a free resource. Funds raised through this project will support outreach efforts to share NJ MAP with broader audiences, including demonstrations to nonprofits, county, and local governments. Attending these conferences will provide students with hands-on experience in international relations and help strengthen Rowan’s presence in national academic diplomatic circles. Funds raised through this project will be allocated toward travel, lodging, and registration fees for participating students, making the conference accessible to as many interested students in international diplomacy as possible. Previously, students spent a significant amount of money out of pocket to ensure that all interested students had a chance to attend. Establishing an apiary at PAWS Farm, an outreach center run by the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine at Rowan University, will not only support pollinator populations in the region but also provide educational opportunities for students and visitors of all ages. Managed honeybees also require specialized veterinary care. The bees at PAWS will also help train our veterinary students to provide that care. Rowan Rocketry The Rowan Rocketry team is engaged in the process of designing, building, and launching a rocket capable of reaching 10,000 ft at the 2027 International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). This work is part of a Junior/Senior Engineering Clinic, serving as a translation of knowledge gained during the undergraduate curriculum into a hands-on engineering project. The funds from this campaign will go towards two major components: the construction of this year's launch vehicle and the construction of a long-term test-bed vehicle. Rowan Rocketry's launch vehicle is the most technically complex yet, with a full fiberglass construction, student-researched-and-developed (SRAD) flight computers, and airbrakes to precisely target a chosen altitude. These cutting-edge features contribute to the majority of the project costs. Additionally, the team intends to develop a secondary vehicle to conduct test launches in order to verify SRAD components before the competition. Be the launch pad for tomorrow’s engineers. This project will establish a Healing Library that will allow families to select and keep books relevant to their developmental, emotional, and educational needs. By offering personalized, provider-curated books that promote literacy, healing, healthy relationships, boundaries, consent, safety, communication, and child development, the program supports both emotional well-being and lifelong learning. Your support will build a Healing Library that provides free books, stickers, and small comfort items to children, adolescents, and families receiving medical and mental health services.
