Many college athletes don't get the chance at a travel experience due to their commitment to their sport, but Rowan University Athletics is dedicated to providing a well-rounded student-athlete experience for our Profs!
In January 2025, the Rowan University Swim team will travel to Florida for their annual training trip where they will train and strengthen team bonds at St. Andrews School in Boca Raton.
Your gift will help the Rowan University Swim team offset the cost of this incredible experience for the team, making this trip affordable and accessible for each athlete.
The team will be staying at the beach-front Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach, which is a short walk to many restaurants and shops. The Embassy provides a fully cooked-to-order breakfast, and athletes will receive a stipend for lunch and dinner spending. The training at St. Andrews School includes a fully equipped weight room, an outdoor 10-lane, 50-meter pool (train both LCM and SCY), and areas for cross-training.

The total cost of the trip includes round-trip airfare, beach-front hotel accommodations and fees, daily breakfast, training facility rental (both pool and weight room), motor coach transportation to and from airports as well as van rentals for daily transportation in Florida. Any funds raised beyond the set goal will go to general support for the Swim team.
