Rowan University’s sport club program is dedicated to enriching the educational experience by providing safe opportunities for student engagement in a variety of physical activities across a broad range of skill levels and experiences. This includes activities that are competitive, semi-competitive and recreational in nature—building a training ground for leadership, organizational development and teaching.

The Karate & Self-Defense Club (KSD) is a martial arts club that welcomes competitors at all levels, building the inexperienced to tournament level as well as challenging those who already have a background in martial arts. The KSD Club's goals this year include promoting more female competitors in a male-dominant sport and competing in three tournaments next spring. Every dollar raised will go to support the team and will help to reduce out-of-pocket costs for our athletes.
