Rowan NSBE's Road to National Convention

Funds raised will be used to secure lodging for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) National Convention in Baltimore from March 18 to 22, 2026.

Annually, in March, over 15,000 students and professionals meet for the NSBE National Convention. There is a large career fair with over 100+ companies looking to hire students for full-time employment and internship opportunities. There are also workshops that are essential for learning and professional development in the industry. 

Rowan NSBE's goal is to have at least 10 NSBE members experience the National Convention. Our chapter was founded in 2017 and was impacted by COVID, so we have been rebuilding our members' pride in NSBE since then. This is the reason we want to increase our total attendees from six to ten students. 

The preferred lodging for the National Convention is the host hotel, which provides opportunities for networking with companies and NSBE members in the elevator, lobby, and on conference shuttles. In the past, hotel costs were usually too expensive for us, and NSBE students missed out on a core part of the experience.
