Fall 2025 PROFfunder Crowdfunding Sprint

PROFfunder is the Rowan University Foundation's crowdfunding initiative for students, staff, and faculty to raise current-use funds to support student projects, programs, and organizations on campus.

PROFfunder is a peer-to-peer fundraising program, meaning the project leads and their teams will need to dedicate time and effort to promote their campaigns. (Think GoFundMe, but we will cover the fees!)

The Fall 2025 PROFfunder campaign will run from Monday, November 3, through Friday, December 5, 2025. (Giving Tuesday is December 2nd!)

Your project should:

Be in support of Rowan University—we cannot accept donations for other non-profits. The mission of the Rowan University Foundation is to raise funds for the University only.
Have a reasonable goal. We see the most success with project goals ranging between $2,500-$5,000. For every $1,000 you plan to raise, you should have 5 ambassadors for your project.
Include a project team consisting of at least 3 Project Ambassadors (fundraisers), 2 Project Leaders (main points of contact & fundraisers), and 1 Project Advocate (advisor, coach, faculty member).

Application: Please complete this online form to submit your project. When your project is approved, you will need to send up to 3 high-resolution photos for your campaign page.

Fall 2025 PROFfunder applications will close on Wednesday, October 15.

Once your project is approved, you'll be provided with a fundraising toolkit and tips & tricks for a successful campaign!
